If you are using Windows Media Player as your daily music player and you want to set your Yahoo Messenger’s status to the current track you’re playing, then you can use this WMP plugin called MessengerData WMP Plugin for Yahoo Messenger 1.1
I’m using Windows Media Player 11, Yahoo Messenger 9.0.0.922 (BETA) on Windows Vista Home Basic, and the WMP Plugin so far works very well.
*but I don’t know why it was harder to find WMP plugin than Winamp plugin, hehe, maybe Winamp is more popular than WMP
